These features are too steep and narrow to skin (you're ruin all the good snow with countless skin tracks) and boot-packing results in sad sad wallowing, sucking the energy that should be conserved for skiing. These lightweight plates are made from Teflon-impregnated anodized aluminum for lightweight durability and minimize clumping. They fit a wide range of boot/crampon combos.
